All of our stock has been extensively researched and in most cases has been purchased direct from the original collector. We are therefore often able to include detailed written history and provenance trails, along with our Certification, to ensure that the buyer can have the knowledge, complete confidence and security that their purchase is genuine. We have worked very hard for many years to gain our excellent reputation and will stop at absolutely nothing to ensure we keep it.
Autograph values have rocketed over the past 10 years, far outstripping supply. They have as have many collectables proved to be interesting, pleasurable, tactile and sound investments when compared with the real returns of conventional pension schemes and the unpredictable volatile current stock market . All this has however fuelled a huge increase in non-genuine material being sold by thousands of “overnight expert” bogus dealers on the likes of Ebay. It is a sad fact that the professional clubs and dealers estimate that around 80% of all
autographs currently being sold on the internet are forgeries ; this is likely to create a huge problem in the years ahead, when these “innocent but ill-informed buyers” only find out when trying to resell their collections. It is an absolute “Piranha Pool” out there for all but the most experienced autograph buyers …..
