Agnes Moorehead

AGNES MOOREHEAD d1974. American actress who appeared in more than seventy films beginning with Citizen Kane and later on dozens of television shows during a career that spanned over thirty years. She is however most widely known to modern audiences for her role as the witch Endora in the "Bewitched" series. Moorehead's skill at character development and range earned her one Emmy and two Golden Globes in addition to four Academy Award nominations. She died of cancer aged 73 in 1974.
