A prolific songwriter he has collaborated with and written many international hits for numerous A-list artists including Celine Dion / Whitney Houston / Diana Ross / Tina Turner / The Carpenters / Willie Nelson and Glen Campbell. Massive hits include ; "Make Me an Island" / "Nothing's Going To Stop Us Now" / "One Moment in Time" / "To All the Girls I've Loved Before" / "The Air That I Breathe" and "When I Need You". As a solo artist himself he remains best known for ; "It Never Rains In Southern California" / "Down By The River" / "I'm A Train" and "The Free Electric Band".
