An original three page handwritten letter in ink from Rhosith Wadhurst dated 6th January 1900, clearly signed at the conclusion Yours Gratefully Alfred W Strutt.

ALFRED WILLIAM STRUTT d1924. New Zealand artist and son of William Strutt who spent the majority of his life in England. He is known for his paintings of sporting scenes including his most famous old lady and a donkey cart. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1879.
