Anthony Hopkins

ANTHONY HOPKINS. Oscar-winning Welsh film actor, best known for his portrayal of serial killer Hannibal Lecter in the 1991 film "The Silence of The Lambs" and its sequel "Hannibal". Other notable roles include ; The Elephant Man / Dracula / Mask of Zorro / Nixon and Fracture. He won the Oscar for Silence of The Lambs (1992), even though he famously only appeared on screen in the role for 16 minutes. Knighted in 1993, he became a US citizen in 2000.
