From the wonderful Michael Pinchbeck collection. This amazing collection consisted of over 2000+ music / entertainment / sport / politics & pioneers autographs on index cards / books / letters & photographs. All obtained in-person and through the post by him for 50+ years between the 1950s-1990s. The majority are dedicated to him and date stamped. As part of his archiving, there are numerous letters that help support the history and provenance of his lifetime dedication to the hobby of autograph collecting. Letter date is February 19th 1957. SIR ANTHONY QUAYLE d1989. English actor and director best known for his film roles of the 1950-70s including ; The Wrong Man (1956) / Ice Cold In Alex (1958) / Tarzan (1959) / Guns of Navarone (1961) / Lawrence Of Arabia (1962) / The Fall Of The Roman Empire (1964) and Operation Crosbow (1965). He died of liver cancer aged 76 in 1989.
