BARBRA STREISAND. American singer, songwriter, actress and filmmaker. In a career spanning six decades, she has become an icon in multiple fields of entertainment, which earned her recognition as the "Queen of The Divas". She is the winner of multiple awards including ; two Academy Awards / ten Grammys / five Emmys / a Tony / a Peabody and nine Golden Globes. She is one of the best selling music artists of all time with more than 68 million albums sold in the USA and a total of 145 million records sold worldwide. After beginning a successful recording career in the 1960s, she ventured into film at the end of the decade. She starred in the critically acclaimed Funny Girl (winning both the Academy and Golden Globe Awards for best actress).
