Barry Sheene

BARRY SHEENE d2003. British GP motorcycle racer for Suzuki and Yamaha between 1970-1984. The World 500CC GP Champion of 1976 and 1977 ; 102 GPs / 23 Wins / 52 Podiums / 19 Poles. An ever popular, colourful and exuberant character who boosted the universal appeal of motorcycle racing and became the sports first ever superstar during the 1970s. He sadly died of cancer aged 52 in 2003 and is still missed today.
