BETTY BALFOUR d1977. English screen actress, popular during the silent era, known as the "British Mary Pickford" and "Britain's Queen of Happiness". She is nowadays remembered to audiences for her "Squibs" series of films. She died in Surrey aged 74 on November 4th 1977.
