THE BLUE LAMP. British Ealing Studios 1950 police social crime film directed by Basil Dearden. The film starred a young Dirk Bogarde as Tom Riley and Jack Warner as PC George Dixon and became the progenitor to the successful long running BBC TV series "Dixon Of Dock Green"
