The World Cup Final was played on July 30th 1966 at Wembley Stadium. It remains the greatest day in Englands football history with England famously defeating West Germany 4-2 after extra time ; the match remembered for a stunning Geoff Hurst hatrick (18 / 101 and 120 mins) and the controversial third "did it cross the line goal". The match was watched by 98000 spectators and the biggest UK TV audience ever of 32 million. The day will ensure football immortality for the eleven players that won the match and their legendary manager Alf Ramsey d1999 ; Gordon Banks / George Cohen / Jack Charlton / Bobby Moore d1993 / Ray Wilson / Nobby Stiles / Alan Ball d2007 / Bobby Charlton / Martin Peters / Geoff Hurst and Roger Hunt. From the outstanding & huge autograph collection of Jean Williams of Chelsea, all obtained in and around the London Theatres / London Hotels (The Dorchester / The Savoy) /  the BBC Riverside Studios and ITV TV Studios from the late 1950s into the mid 1970s. Including (amongst others) such notables as ; John Lennon / Marlon Brando / Steve McQueen / Sharon Tate / Lee Van Cleef / Ringo Starr and Natalie Wood. Most of the signatures in the collection are dedicated to her by the celebrity and then annotated and dated in her hand.  This Bobby Moore autograph is dated 5th January 1969. AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK COA.
