BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN. American singer-songwriter known as "The Boss". His brand of American Heartland Rock, coupled with his acclaimed marathon stage shows with The E Street Band have earned him iconic status and an army of fans all around the world. His eloquence has contributed to his winning numerous awards including ; twenty Grammys and an Academy Award. He has sold over 65 million albums in the USA and over 120 million worldwide. The E Street Band were formed in the studio in 1972 : there was limited success only until the release in 1975 of the classic Born To Run album. A string of other definitive albums have followed including ; The River (1980) / one of the best selling albums of all time Born in The USA (1984) / Tunnel of Love (1987) / Human Touch (1992) / The Rising (2002) and Working on a Dream (2009). He still plays his legendary four hour shows and remains one of the hottest tickets in town to the current day.
