Caroline Alherne

CAROLINE ALHERNE d2016. English comedian and BAFTA winning writer and actress, best known for performing as the acerbic chat show host Mrs Merton and for various roles in the The Fast Show.She also had a leading role in the BBC TV comedy The Royle Family which she co-wrote. She was also known for narrating the Channel 4 reality television series Gogglebox. She sadly died of lung cancer aged just 52 on July 2nd 2016.
