Charles Bronson

CHARLES BRONSON d2003. American actor of Polish / Lithuanian background. He was often cast in the roles of a police officer / gunfighter or vigilante ; often working with directors Michael Winner and J Lee Thompson. His most notable film roles include ; Once Upon a Time in The West / The Magnificent Seven / The Dirty Dozen / The Great Escape / Rider on The Rain / The Mechanic and Death Wish (1974). In his later years he suffered with Alzheimers disease. He died of pneumonia aged 81 in 2003.
