CHAS & DAVE. English pop rock duo, most notable as creators and performers of a musical style labelled "rockney", which mixes "pub singalong, music-hall humour and boogie woogie piano. For a time, "Rockney" was also the name of their record label and they achieved Top 20 UK hits including ; Gertcha / Rabbit / Ossies Dream / Aint No Pleasing You and Snooker Loopy. Chas Hodges died aged 74 on September 22nd 2018
