THE COMMODORES. American funk soul band whose peak was in the late 1970s through to the mid 1980s when Lionel Richie was the co-lead singer. Their biggest hits include UK Top10s ; Easy / Three Times a Lady (No1 1978) / Sail On / Still and Nightshift for which they won a Grammy in 1985.
