Counting Crows

COUNTING CROWS. American rock band from California formed in 1991. They gained popularity following the release of their first album August and Everything After (1993). With the breakthrough hit single "Mr Jones" (1993) the album sold more than seven million copies in the United States. They received two Grammy Awards nominations in 1994. The follow-up album Recovering the Satellites reached No1 on the US Billboard 200 album chart and reached No1 in several other countries. All but one of their subsequent albums reached the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 list. The band have sold more than 20 million albums and are known for their dynamic live performances
