Daevid Allen

DAEVID ALLEN. Eccentric Australian poet guitarist singer composer and performance artist famous for co-founding psychedelic rock groups Soft Machine (1966) and Gong (1970).  Franco- British space-rock group Gong enjoyed a cult status and became one of the first acts to be signed by Virgin Records in 1972.
