Darryl F Zanuck

DARRYL F ZANUCK d1979. American film producer and studio executive. In his earlier career he contributed stories for films starting in the silent era. He played a major part in the Hollywood studio system as one of its longest survivors. He produced three films that won the Academy Award for Best Picture during his tenure, but was responsible for many more. He died in Palm Springs aged 77 on December 22nd 1979
