Certification:The autograph was obtained at the Pavilion Ballroom Bournemouth during July-September 1965. David Bowie (Davie Jones) and the Lower Third made a series of appearances at the venue during this period. The compere was Patrick Kerr. The group was booked by local promoter Kenny Bell who was a friend of the band's new manager Ralph Horton. From the vintage 1960s autograph books of Richard L of Bournemouth containing music and entertainment notables of the decade. Some are dedicated to him and most have written annotations by him detailing dates and places where he collected the autographs. There is a typed letter from him further detailing the history.
