DAVID CASSIDY d2017. American teenage heart-throb singer and actor of the 1970s. He is best known for TV series The Partridge Family and a string of hit singles including UK No1s ; How Can I Be Sure / Could It Be Forever / Daydreamer. On February 20th 2017, he announced that he was living with dementia, the condition that his mother suffered from at the end of her life. He had earlier retired from performing during 2017 when the condition became noticeable during a performance in which he forgot lyrics and otherwise struggled. On November 18th 2017, it was announced that he had been hospitalized suffering from liver & kidney failure and was critically ill in a medically induced coma. David Cassidy sadly died on November 21st 2017 aged 67.
