DOROTHY LAMOUR d1996. American film actress whose major career lasted from 1936-1952. One of the most beautiful and popular actresses of the period, best remembered for her appearances in the hugely successful series of "Road To..." movies of the 40s and 50s with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope. She died aged 81 of a heart attack in 1996.
