ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA. English symphotic rock group who released eleven studio albums between 1971-1986. After the early departure of co founder Roy Wood, the band was led by Jeff Lynne and by the mid 1970s they had become one of the biggest acts in music. During a ten year period (1976-1986) they had seven UK Top10 albums including ; A New World Record / Out of The Blue / Discovery / Xanadu / Time / Sweet Messages and Balance of Power. They incredibly also in less than a decade scored twenty UK and US Top 20 singles, selling over 50 million records. In 2015, Jeff Lynne released a new Alone in The Universe LP and announced dates for an extensive European Tour.
