Errol Flynn

ERROL FLYNN d1959. Australian film actor famous for his romantic swashbuckler roles and flamboyant lifestyle. He became an overnight sensation after his first lead role in Captain Blood (1935). His later other memorable film roles included ; Robin Hood (1938) / Sea Hawk (1940) and The Adventures of Don Juan (1948). Sadly in later life his penchant for womanising, hard drinking and notorious drug-taking, caused lasting damage to his career in which he really became a parody of himself. He died of a heart attack aged just 50 in 1959.
