Fernandel

FERNANDEL d1971. French actor and singer. He was a comedy star who first gained popularity in French revues. His stage name originated from his marriage to Henriette Manse, the sister of his best friend and frequent cinematic collaborator Jean Manse. He died in Paris aged 67 on February 26th 1971
