Frankie Goes to Hollywood
FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD. Controversial Dance-Pop band from Liverpool who enjoyed considerable success during the mid 1980s. Their first three singles went straight to No1 in the UK charts. "Relax" (1984) which was five weeks at the top after being banned by the BBC for its lyrical content, subsequently followed by "Two Tribes" and "The Power of Love". The group split in 1987 and reformed in for a short three year period in 2004.
