Freddie Laker

FREDDIE LAKER d2006. English airline entrepreneur, best known for founding Laker Airways in 1966 which went bankrupt in 1982. He was one of the first airline owners to adopt the "low cost / low frills" airline business model that later has since proven to be so successful worldwide. He died in Florida aged 83 on February 9th 2006
