GEORDIE. British glam-rock group of the 1970s from Newcastle best known for their 1973 hit singles "All Because Of You" (No6) and "Can You Do It" (No13). The group finally folded in February 1980 when singer Brian Johnson left to join ACDC following the death of Bon Scott.
