An original 1969 autograph book page, clearly signed and dedicated in blue ink by George Peppard (For Jean).

Double mounted for fine display with photograph.

Certification:

From the outstanding & huge autograph collection of Jean Williams of Chelsea, all obtained in and around the London Theatres / London Hotels (The Dorchester / The Savoy) /  the BBC Riverside Studios and ITV TV Studios from the late 1950s into the mid 1970s. Including (amongst others) such notables as ; John Lennon / Marlon Brando / Steve McQueen / Sharon Tate / Lee Van Cleef / Ringo Starr and Natalie Wood. Most of the signatures in the collection are dedicated to her by the celebrity and then annotated and dated in her hand.  This George Peppard autograph is dated 20th April 1969. George Peppard

GEORGE PEPPARD d1994. American actor cast alongside Audrey Hepburn in the classic 1961 film "Breakfast at Tiffanys". Handsome and elegant George Peppard occasionally displayed considerable talent through his career, but was too often cast in undemanding action roles. He is today probably best known for played cigar-chomping Colonel Hannibal Smith in the highly successful 1980s TV series "The A Team". Five times married and a heavy smoker & drinker throughout his life, he died of pneumonia aged 65 in 1994.

From the wonderful collection of music / entertainment & pioneer autographs of John S of Newport who amassed a huge celebrity autograph archive during the 1980-90s. These were all collected by him in-person / at concert & theatre venues / through the post and via artist management during this 20 year period.
