Gina Lollobrigida

GINA LOLLOBRIGIDA. Italian actress and photo-journalist. One of the most prominent actresses in Europe of the 1950s and early 1960s. Her best known films include ; Trapeze (1956) with Burt Lancaster and Solomon and Sheba (1959) alongside Yul Brynner. Today, she remains an active supporter of Italian and Italian American causes, particularly the NIAF. In 2008, she received the NIAF Lifetime Achievement Award at the Foundation's Anniversary Gala.
