GONE WITH THE WIND. 1939 American Film classic directed by Victor Fleming that symbolises the Golden Age of Hollywood. It starred Glark Gable d1960 (Rhett Butler) / Vivien Leigh d1967 (Scarlett Ohara) / Leslie Howard d1943 (Ashley) and Olivia De Havilland d2020 (Melanie Hamilton). Winner of Ten Academy Awards, it grossed over $400 million. At the time, it sold the most tickets ever for a film and was voted the 4th best film of all time by The American Film Institute. Remembered for two of the most famous closing lines in cinema history. Rhett ; "Frankly my dear I don't give a damn AND "Scarlett ; "Home l'll go home and I'll think of some way to get him back.
