1) GRAHAM HILL autograph d1975. British F1 Grand-Prix racing driver. One of motorsports most recognisable faces whose outstanding career yielded 14 wins from 179 GP starts. He was  F1 World Champion in 1962 and again in 1968 and is still the only man ever to win motorsports "Triple Crown". He was sadly killed whilst piloting his own plane in a crash at Elstree in 1975 ......

2) COLIN CHAPMAN autograph d1982. Innovative influential British sports car designer / inventor and founder of Lotus Cars in 1952. Team Lotus won an amazing seven F1 constructors titles, six drivers championships and The Indianapolis 500 under his guidance between 1962-1978. He died of a heart attack aged 54 in 1982.

Graham Hill actually joined Team Lotus as a mechanic but quickly talked himself into the cockpit making his F1 debut at the 1958 Monaco GP (retiring with half-shaft failure). He left in 1960 to join BRM but returned seven years later developing the Lotus 49 and became team leader following the deaths of both Jim Clark and Mike Spence. In 1968 he became World Champion for the second time driving for Team Lotus and Gold Leaf Team Lotus. He then continued to drive Lotus 49C and 72C for Rob Walker Racing until 1970.

A wonderful pair of consecutive late 1950s autograph book pages, clearly signed by both Graham Hill (in ballpoint) and Colin Chapman (in pencil).

Double mounted for fine display with autographs.

Highly desirable and rare to find autographs of both together from this early period with the two men working at the start of Graham Hills F1 career ...
