Harold Abrahams

HAROLD ABRAHAMS CBE d1978. English track and field athlete athlete. He is famous for being the 100 metres sprint Olympic Champion of 1924 (in 10.6 seconds), a feat depicted in the 1981 film Chariots of Fire. He died in London aged 78 on January 14th 1978
