HINGE & BRACKET. British comedy and musical act consisting of two characters Dr Evadne Hinge and Dame Hilda Bracket devised and played by female impersonators George Logan and Patrick Fyffe. Hinge and Bracket were portrayed as a pair of elderly, intellectual female musicians. They rose to fame in the 1970s and made many appearances on television and radio. The partnership ended when Patrick Fyffe died of cancer on 11th May 2002 at the age of 60. George Logan died on 21st May 2023 at the age of 78
