This amazing collection consisted of over 2000+ music / entertainment / sport / politics & pioneers autographs on index cards / books / letters & photographs. All obtained in-person and through the post by him for 50+ years between the 1950s-1990s. The majority are dedicated to him and date stamped. As part of his archiving, there are numerous letters that help support the history and provenance of his lifetime dedication to the hobby of autograph collecting. IVORY JOE HUNTER d1974. American R&B singer, songwriter and pianist. After a series of hits on the US R&B chart starting in the mid-1940s, he became more widely known for his hit recording "Since I Met You Baby" (1956). He was billed as The Baron of The Boogie and as The Happiest Man Alive. He died in Memphis aged 60 on November 8th 1974
