Jam

Jam

JAM. Highly successful punk rock / mod revival band of the late 1970s. The group scored an incredible eighteen consecutive Top 40 singles in the UK between 1977 and their break up in 1982. These included four notable No1s ; Going Underground / Start / A Town Called Malice and Beat Surrender. All songs remembered for their stirring lyrics and powerful bass lines. Rumours over the years of a possible reformation have been ridiculed by leader Paul Weller who has continued to enjoy a highly successful solo career in many guises since the 1980s
