James Garner

JAMES GARNER d2014. American film / television actor and one of the first Hollywood actors to excel in both media. He played Bret Maverick in the popular 1950s western-comedy series, but is best known for playing Jim Rockford in the 1970s detective drama "The Rockford Files". He starred in dozens of movies including ; The Great Escape / The Americanization of Emily / Victor Victoria and Murphys Romance (1982) for which he received an Academy Award nomination. He died in LA aged 86 on July 19th 2014
