James Robertson Justice

JAMES ROBERTSON JUSTICE d1975. Popular Anglo Scottish actor prolific in British films of the 1940s-1960s. He will forever be remembered for his outstanding portrayal of Sir Lancelot Spratt alongside Dirk Bogarde in the series of classic "Doctor" films of the late 1950s. He suffered with poor health in his later life, having several strokes which left him unable to work. He sadly died penniless aged 68 on 2nd July 1975.
