Jane Russell
Jane Russell
JANE RUSSELL d2011. American actress sex-symbol of the 1940-50s. She was first signed by film-mogul Howard Hughes in 1940 and made her debut in "The Outlaw" (1943). The film created huge problems with censorship, due to its classic stable scene and the cameras concentration on her volumptious 38DD cleavage. Her later film credits include ; His Kind Of Woman (1951) / Double Dynamite (1951) / Las Vegas Story (1952) / Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953) / Foxfire (1955 )/ The Tall Men (1955 )and The King and Four Queens (1956). In 2009, Glamour Magazine named her as one of The Top 40 Movie Goddesses of all time. She died recently (aged 89) of respiratory failure at her home on February 28th 2011.
