As part of his archiving, there are numerous letters that help support the history and provenance of his lifetime dedication to the hobby of autograph collecting. Jim Callaghan

JIM CALLAGHAN d2005. British politician who served as Prime Minister of the UK from 1976-1979 and Leader of the Labour Party between 1976-80. He is the only person to have held all four Great Offices of State ; having served as Chancellor of the Exchequer (1964-67) / Home Secretary (1967-70) / Foreign Secretary (1974-76) as well as PM (1976-79). He was an MP from 1945 to 1987. He died in Sussex aged 92 on March 26th 2005
