KATE BUSH. English singer-songwriter musician and producer. Her innovative eclectic musical style and lyrics have made her one of Englands most successful female solo artists of the last 30 years (selling over 20 million records). She has scored ten Top10 singles and three No1 albums since first coming to prominence (aged just 19) in 1978 with the classic "Wuthering Heights" which topped the UK charts for four weeks. She became reclusive following the death of her lighting engineer Bill Duffield who was killed in a freak accident at Poole Arts Centre on 2nd April 1979 during her first and only ever concert tour. In 2011, she told the Classic Rock magazine ; "I do hope that some time I get a chance to do some shows. Maybe not a tour, but something". In March 2014, she announced a 22-night residency called Before the Dawn in London from 26th August to 1st October 2014 at the Hammersmith Apollo. The tickets sold out in 15 minutes ....
