KAY FRANCIS d1968. American stage and film actress known for her glamorous beauty, stature and deep voice. She achieved her greatest success between 1930 and 1936, when she was the number one female star at Warner Bros Studios and the highest paid American film actress of the period. She died aged 63 of cancer leaving over a million dollars to a Dogs For The Blind Charity
