From the wonderful Michael Pinchbeck collection. This amazing collection consisted of over 2000+ music / entertainment / sport / politics & pioneers autographs on index cards / books / letters & photographs. All obtained in-person and through the post by him for 50+ years between the 1950s-1990s. The majority are dedicated to him and date stamped. As part of his archiving, there are numerous letters that help support the history and provenance of his lifetime dedication to the hobby of autograph collecting. From the 1960s pop music collection of Maggie B of Lincolnshire. Our research concludes that the majority of the autographs were obtained at the Starlight Room at the Gliderdrome Boston between 1964-67. Many of the major pop acts of the period played at this famous venue during the decade. Some of the autographs are exact dated with collectors notation and a few are dedicated to her. Date notation for this is October 22nd 1966. AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK.

Lee Dorsey

LEE DORSEY. African American R&B pop singer of the 1960s best known for "Ya Ya"(1961) and the worldwide hit "Working in the Coal Mine" which reached No8 in both the UK and US charts in July 1966. He died of emphysema aged 61 on December 1st 1986.
