LEE MARVIN d1987. American Oscar winning actor known for his gravelly voice and playing gritty roles in film classics such as ; The Comancheros (1961) / Liberty Valance (1962) and Donovans Reef (all with John Wayne) / Cat Ballou (1965) / The Dirty Dozen (1967) and The Wild Bunch (1969). Marvin was one of a very select group of Hollywood actors who commanded a fee of One Million USD per film in the late 1960s. He died of a heart attack aged 63 on August 29th 1987.
