LITTLE EVA d2003. American teenage pop-singer best remembered for the worldwide 1962 No1 hit single "The Locomotion". She was never again given commercial material by her label and retired from the music industry in 1971, living the rest of her life in relative poverty and obscurity. She returned occasionally to the nostalgia circuit during the 1980-90s but died aged just 59 from cervical cancer in 2003.
