Longdancer

LONGDANCER. English folk-rock band of the early 1970s that included David A Stewart later of Eurythmics fame. The group grew out of a folk duo comprising originally of Dave Stewart and Brian Harrison. In 1973, they became the first artists to sign to Elton John's Rocket label. In 1977, Dave Stewart formed the Tourists and in later in 1981 (with Annie Lennox) the Eurythmics
