Love Thy Neighbour

LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR. British sit-com which aired on Thames Television between 1972-1976 spanning seven series and 55 episodes. It was later adapted into a movie and theatre production. The series was based around a suburban white working class couple who unwittingly find themselves living next door to a black couple and their attempts to come to terms with this. The series was hugely popular in the 1970s. At the time it aroused great controversy for many of the same reasons as the earlier Till Death Us Do Part
