Lynn Anderson

LYNN ANDERSON d2015. Multi-award-winning American country singer known for a string of hits throughout the late 1960-80s and most notably for her 1970 worldwide megahit "Rose Garden". Her crossover appeal and regular exposure on national television helped her to become one of the most popular and successful country singers of the 1970s. She charted 12 No1s / 18 Top10 and more than 50 Top 40 hits. In addition to being named "Top Female Vocalist" by the ACM twice and "Female Vocalist of the Year" by the CMA and also a Grammy Award (earning seven nominations). She died aged 67 of a heart attack in July 2015.
