MARK LEEMAN FIVE. British R&B group popular in London who made their debut in January 1965 with the Manfred Mann produced Portland Town. Before the release of their next single (Blow My Blues Away) lead-singer Mark Leeman had been killed in a car crash. His place was taken by former Cheynes frontman Roger Peacock. Despite releasing other excellent singles the quintet were never able to achieve chart success.
