THE HON MRS VICTOR BRUCE (MILDRED MARY PETRE) d1990. British record-breaking racing motorist, speedboat racer and aviator in the 1920s and 1930s. The first woman to fly around the world (except oceans) solo. She later became a successful businesswoman. She died in London aged 94 on May 21st 1990
